JVB Furniture Collection recently held an exciting trade competition where any purchase of R500 allowed designers an entry into a competition to win an all expenses trip for two to London Design Week. This year JVB founder and Creative Director Justin Van Breda decided to draw two lucky winners (one from Cape Town and a further winner from Johannesburg). Cape Town based designer Kyle Roux from Kyle Roux Interiors and Karissa Barnett from Karissa Barnett Design in Johannesburg were drawn as the lucky winners. Kyle brought along business partner Paul Coates whilst Karissa treated her designing daughters Amanda and Natalie to the London trip.
The designers delighted in a host of stimulating décor and design exhibitions including 100% Design, Decorex International and Chelsea Harbour’s Focus. Besides attending the various shows, the designers also attended a selection of seminars hosted by industry stalwarts plus a variety of opening parties and launches, including an afternoon tea at JVB’s showroom in Chelsea Harbour to celebrate the launch of their new Country Collection. |
